Matchmaker Registration

  

 

Are you helping devotees to enter grihastha ashram? If so, then you may be eliglble to become a DevoteeMatch.com Matchmaker. DevoteeMatch.com provides Matchmakers with a single global system for all global ISKCON devotees looking to enter grihastha ashram, thereby greatly increasing the pool of candidates available to you. You will never need to maintain an offline database of client profiles - DevoteeMatch.com provides all the tools that you need to do matchmaking, as well as advice and guidance from our Advisory Council. Matchmaker accounts have special capabilities including:

  • Managing your Matchmaker profile
  • Entry of your profile in our public list of Matchmakers
  • Searching for and viewing both male and female Members
  • Unlimited messaging to all Members
  • Members can select you as their Matchmaker, so that they become your Client Members
  • List of your Client Members
  • Viewing your Client Members' contact details
  • Making private notes on Members (feature under development)
  • Suggesting Members to each other (feature under development)
  • Membership of a closed discussion forum of all Matchmakers

Eligibility

To be eligible to hold a Matchmaker account, you must be:
  • Authorised as a Matchmaker by the Temple President of your local ISKCON Temple (in rare cases we grant Matchmaker accounts to qualified devotees who are acting independently)
  • Actively serving in your local ISKCON Temple
  • An initiated ISKCON member in good standing
  • Following the four regulative principles and chanting a minimum of 16 rounds daily
  • Aged 30 or over
  • Fluent in Srila Prabhupada's instructions on Vedic marriage
  • Experienced in guiding devotees in entering into grihastha ashram
  • Be currently actively helping at least five devotees to enter grihastha ashram and commit to getting all of them to become members of DevoteeMatch - they  should select you as their Matchmaker
  • Undertake to regularly access your Matchmaker account, reply to messages and proactively help your Client Members to find matches

 

How to Register

If you meet the eligibility requirements, please send an email to support [at] devoteematch [dot] com with the following details and recommendation, and we will respond to you quickly.
  • Gender
  • First name
  • Last name
  • Initiated name
  • Date of Birth
  • City
  • Country
  • Local ISKCON Temple
  • Profile IDs of five DevoteeMatch.com Members whom you are guiding
  • Confirmation that you meet the eligibility requirements

Please also ask the Temple President of your local ISKCON Temple to send a recommendation email to us with a simple recommendation for you, in the following format:

I recommend [insert initiated name] to be a Matchmaker on DevoteeMatch.com.

He/she meets the Matchmaker eligibility requirements stated on DevoteeMatch.com and is a member of our congregation in good standing, helping devotees to enter into grihastha ashram.
